Getting excited! First post, hope it's good!

As many of you know, Caleb and I are in the waiting zone to leave for Jamaica! We are getting excited! There are so many new and crazy things coming up in God's journey for us! Here is a little bit of our journey now. The past 2 months have been packed with preparing, excitement and challenges. As we ended our jobs in early July, our journey took us to our two week training in Virginia! What a beautiful place Virginia is! We saw so many huge mountains and lots of cows! By the end of the two weeks we were in love with cows! The training was awesome. We had sessions each day from 8-4. Caleb and I learned about all kinds of things. A few were communicating in other cultures, living in new cultures, and heard so many amazing testimonies from other missionaries. We know everything we learned will come alive when we get to Jamaica and cherish all the relationships built with the VMM workers and fellow missionary friends! It's so incredible to see where God is taking each of us. As the week ended we had our commissioning ceremony at a BEAUTIFUL farm! We all worshipped together, prayed together and fellowshipped. It was a very special time that we will never forget. As we returned home we felt the struggle of comfortability and security begin. It's so hard to leave the only place and people you have ever known! Praise the Lord though! God has been working in amazing ways and giving us a peace that surpasses all understanding and strength to walk on the waters of the unknown! God is SO good, ALL the time. :) (He has also blessed us with amazing support from family, friends, and our church family. We are SO thankful.) As of now we are waiting for our work visas to finished being processed and once that happens our plane tickets will be bought for us to leave!  Pray that it will happen soon, we can learn sign language and that we can walk with Jesus each day of life.
